This week has been a big week of ups....and downs.....
The up.... I got a phone call this week from Nikki from Finishing Touch Ideas and she asked me if i would like to do some design team work for her...woohoo!!! I was very honoured to be asked and look forward to getting my teeth stuck into that!!
I also arranged with Alita at scrap a while for me to go down to Taree in July to do some classes with the lovely ladies who go to the store, so i am very much looking forward to that too.
On the downs......foot just doesn't seem to be healing.. i think we are up to about week 18 now, so my doc is sending me to see a specialist (again) and hopefully he can shed some light on what is happening with it.......it is becomeing very frustrating!!!!!!
And this is an up and a down.......i have decided i would really love to buy my own scrapbook shop. It is something i have wanted to do for a couple of years but have been a bit scared to go and take the plunge........i now think i am ready to jump into the sea of unknown and do it!!!!
So watch this space.............i have had a look at a couple and hopefully in the near future i will be my own boss and doing something i feel very passionatly about.
So it's been quite an emotional week....with deciding what to do about buying a shop, and also very stressful!!........but hopefully it will all work out fine.
Now in amongst all that i have even got some scrapping done...YAY.....not that too much stops me from that!!
I did this one and one last week using the same papers so i thought with the scraps i would do some cards.......always a good way to use up the bits, my problem is i forget to give them to people when birthdays etc come!!!!!!
And for a change this week, i didn't do a layout of Chelsea at all.....yes you heard right!!!! This week it seemed to be a Gabby layoutathon and myself and Scott. (Emily seemed to get a few the other week!!!!lol)
Also this week....and totally not about scrapping at all......i went with the girls from Carindale, down to Muwillumbah to visit our mate Sandra....which was a fabulous day....but the highlight of the day was our visit to this beautiful little cafe/gift shop at Tumbulgum called House of Gabriel.
The couple who run the place are just soooo friendly and the food is to die for (and so is the veiw while you are having your lunch) We had been there before, last time we visited Sandra, but i really thought they deserved a mention and if you are ever down that way or going past they are worth the detour.
