Just 6 more sleeps!!!!!!

Yes thats right....just 6 more sleeps and i will be cruising!!!, anyone would think i was getting excited or something!!. Truth be known i'm not so much excited just looking forward to getting away with my hubby and kids and relaxing, helps too that i have friends coming along with their families so it will be a great get away.



Been quite a non eventfull week this week. Still not being back at work though gave me the opportunity to get myself organised for the cruise and the special event we now have planned for the cruise. As this year is the 10yr mark for Scott and I we have decided to renew our vows on the cruise on the Isle of Pines off Noumea. And as the first time round we had a low key surprise wedding at Chelseas christening we have decided to go the whole hog and do it properly this time. So i have organised my dress (it is sooo beautiful) and dresses for my girls (they are also beautiful) and of course an outfit for Scott, flowers, and of course the ceremony and photographer which i had to do with P&O as they actually organise the arrangements that end. So..........about that i am very excited......and best part is my girls will all be a part of it. That means when i do get back from my cruise i will not only have holliday photos to scrap but also wedding photos. lol



Well in amongst all the organising i did manage to get some scrapping done. I got my 50 things page done, which i am very happy with, and 3 others as well. For a hugh change 2 of the layouts i did this week were of me!!!! I think that means in the 4 or so yrs i'v been scrapping i now have a whole 6 pagess of me!!! lol.......i think thats typical of scrapbookers isn't it?? always behind the camera, rarely in front of it. At the moment i seem to be liking stitching on my layouts......no idea why....i hate sewing....lol....oh well i'm sure it will pass...lol. Also made a point of using my craft robo this week, i bought it i should use it......i love it but i just get lazy and don't use it.....so i did this week on 2 of the 4 layouts i did.



Other news.... i went back to blonde again this week......decided you can see the grey far too fast when my hair is darker lol.....besides i prefer the blonde.



Well back to the doctors 2morrow to see how the foot is going, and to see if i will be back at work at all before i go on hollidays!!!. So i guess i'll just have to wait and see.

Big Week!!!

What a week, well really it's been a week and a half so i have heaps of things that have happened and that i have done. Firstly, foot is getting better, definatly on the mend, still a bit swollen and sore but hopefully i'll be 100% before my hollidays (which is only 2 weeks away YAY!!!) but back to the doctors 2morrow to see when i'll be going back to work. So lots of things.... ok on the work front, i had state conference on wednesday and thursday, again my store made it into the final 3 for store of the season yay!! really happy, we didn't win but i am proud of our achievement of getting to the final 3 anyway. Anne won store member of the season so that was a great honour for her and to my store, so all up conference was good, always a good catch up with the other stores staff that we don't see very often.



Now my most exciting news..........i am now a very proud design team member for scrap a while...yay....i applied for a position on their design team and during the week i got an email from Alita, the store owner, giving me the very exciting news that i had been accepted for a position. How exciting....i am so looking forward to getting to know everyone on their forum and really getting my teeth into this new challenge



Still on scrapping related things, i have had a bumper week this week in making a dent to my 50 list. I can say as a running update i am making a conscience effort to do no. 2 on my list everyday, even if it is just something small like having an icebreak (which i so shouldn't have, but enjoy having) so i think i am keeping on track with that one. I'm also suprisingly keeping on track with no.4, so far....and i do say so far......i have used something from my stash on every single layout i have done this yr.....not hard really when u consider just how big my stash is (embarassing really!!!!lol). I have achieved no.5 on the list.....on monday i attended a copy cat scrap class at scrapbooks etc with Margrete, it was really good. I have also achieved no. 16. over the week i watched the entire first 2 seasons of Weeds and 3 eps for season 3, so now i just have to wait for the rest of season 3 to be released (hopefully they won't take too long, i'm hooked and want to know whats going to happen!!!!lol) No. 28 has also been achieved, i have joined the forum, as well as the design team for scrap a while so as i said before a really good dent in my 50 this week. Then there is the ongoing ones like no.20 January's cuisine was mexican, no.40, i have added more to my 100 page goal and no.44 here i am maintaining my blog. So, so far so good.





Well today is Scotts birthday.....happy birthday husband of mine......and we celebrated by having brunch with his family this morning down at cafe Aribica, my favorite place for brunch, and then the rest of the day shopping for clothes for him for our cruise, overall a nice day. On the cruise...well we have only 13 days to go...getting very excited...i think we are all ready now, well all of us except maybe Virginia who will pack the morning of (as she usually does).
